Descubriremos la Girona medieval con un agradable paseo, conoceremos su historia y veremos algunos de sus imponentes monumentos entre ellos, la Catedral, las murallas o su barrio judío que es el mejor conservado de Cataluña, además de disfrutar de las vistas sobre el río Onyar con sus casas de colores.
We will discover the mediaeval Girona with a pleasant walk, will know his history and will see some of his imponentes monuments among them, the Cathedral, the walls or his Jewish neighbourhood that it is the best conserved of Catalonia, in addition to enjoying of the seen on the river Onyar with his houses of colours.
Girona is situated north of Catalonia and by his strategic situation, near of the French border and in the confluence of 4 rivers, has a history of more than 2000 years. His development arrived from the roman period and had his splendour in the half age, with the construction of numerous monumental edifices that have arrived us until our days.

During our route will explore the most emblematic places of the city enjoying of his callejuelas,  romantic corners and the shady light of the historical centre that looks to have remained stopped in the time.

We will be able to admire, the church of Sant Feliu, the most ancient of Girona, the ancient  romance Monastery of Sant Pere of Galligants, the baths arábes , the mediaeval wall and the impactante image of the Cathedral of Girona, very known for possessing the Gothic nave wider of the world. Also during our walk, will be able to visit the outline of the judería of Girona, The Call, know the history of the Jewish in Catalonia and observe his good conservation.

To finalise, will cross the river Onyar to contemplate the Girona built from the 19th century and the life of the city nowadays.

For this tour is necessary transport although also it can access in BIRD, our train of tall speed. (Consult length of the tour by train).

All the visit makes on foot. No apt for people with problems of mobility.

Length with start from Barcelona: 6 hours.

This tour does not include entrances. Could include , entrance to the Church of Sant Feliu, Cathedral, Sant Pere of Galligants, Arab baths or Jewish Museum.

Combinations for tour of complete day.

This tour can complete with the visit to the Museum Dalí in Figueres, a route by the Costa Brava or with the visit to the mediaeval village of Besalú.
