Montserrat
They enjoy of an excursion that combines, nature, spirituality, history and art. The Mountain of Montserrat, with only forms, the Monastery Benedictino and the Basilica of Our Lady of Montserrat, the patron saint of Catalonia.
The mountain of Montserrat finds to some 50km. Of Barcelona and stands out by his spectacular landscape, because of the rocky formations that compose it.
Besides it is the religious centre of Catalonia, there find the Monastery benedictino and the Basilica of Santa María of the Montserrat, founded in the S XI. In the interior of the church finds the image of the Virgin of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia and known commonly with the fond name of “The Moreneta”, by his tez dark.

To the zone of the Monastery can access by road from Barcelona. Other options of access, are from the population of Monistrol of Montserrat go up to the zone of the Monastery by train “zip” or in ropeway.
You will be able to enjoy of the landscape, stroll in the different paths that there is in the mountain, see the edificaciones historical, pray, buy or try the typical products of the available zone in his mercadito like cheeses, honey, turrón…
